We began at Hotel Indigo in downtown Athens for the getting ready photos and bridal detail shots. Next we headed to Founder's Gardens on UGA's North Campus for the first look moment and Alexandria and Anthony's individual portraits. Finally, their quaint little ceremony was at the GA Country Club, which was just a few minutes outside of town. Their reception was an intimate candlelit dinner with their closest friends and family, and Gabe and I were fortunate to feel included in that. COVID-19 changed the wedding plans of many couples in 2020, causing them to opt for smaller, more customized events. Alexandria and Anthony's wedding day was no exception. A retro Revolve gown, elegant white roses, and the olde English garden vibes of Founder's Gardens made this day an elopement photographer's daydream! Personally, I am a huge fan of small events like this one because it not only allows the day to feel more relaxed, but it offers the couple the ability to spend time with those who matter the most.
