Rebecca + Parker at Oakland

An Intimate Oakland Cemetery Elopement in Atlanta, GA

There’s something incredibly poetic about choosing a place filled with history to begin a new chapter together. Rebecca and Parker’s intimate elopement at Oakland Cemetery felt cinematic in the quietest, most beautiful way. With only a handful of their closest friends and family present, the entire day carried an almost sacred stillness to it--deeply emotional, deeply intentional, and completely centered around the two of them.

A Ceremony Outside Richard’s Mausoleum

Their ceremony took place outside Richard’s Mausoleum in the afternoon light, surrounded by towering stone architecture and winding paths lined with old trees. Rebecca wore a short, elegant wedding dress that felt timeless against the historic backdrop, paired with a dramatic red rose bouquet that added the perfect touch of romance and old-world glamour. Every detail felt thoughtful without ever feeling overdone.

A Hybrid Mix of Film, Polaroids, + Digital Photography

One of our favorite parts of this elopement was documenting the day through a hybrid mix of digital photography, 35mm film, and Polaroids. The combination gave the gallery a layered, nostalgic feeling that fit the atmosphere of Oakland Cemetery perfectly. The Polaroids captured the softness and spontaneity of the day, while the film photographs added grain, texture, and emotion that almost felt pulled from another era. Paired with the clarity and depth of DSLR imagery, the final gallery feels both editorial and deeply personal. For your video needs, we also offer Super 8 and camcorder options for your package!

The Beauty of an Intimate Wedding Day

Rebecca and Parker embraced the intimacy of the day completely. There was no pressure for a large production--just meaningful vows, beautiful architecture, quiet moments together, and the people who mattered most. Some of our favorite images from the evening are the in-between moments: Rebecca laughing with her bouquet in hand, Parker holding her close beneath the mausoleum columns, and the soft candlelit feeling that settled in as the afternoon faded.
