Jonathan and Becca’s Washington Square Park couples session captured exactly that feeling. We met them in Washington Square Park, where the iconic arch, scattered pigeons, and winter atmosphere created the perfect backdrop. Starting with Chess in Washington Square Park

We began the session at one of Washington Square Park’s classic chess tables. Jonathan and Becca played together while we documented the quiet, intimate moments--hands reaching across the board, soft smiles, and the rhythm of a slow winter morning in New York.

It felt authentic to them. Nothing posed, nothing forced. Just two people spending time together in the city.

Running Through Pigeons Under the Washington Square Arch

After chess, we wandered toward the Washington Square Arch where the energy shifted. Jonathan and Becca ran through a cluster of pigeons, laughing and holding hands as the birds lifted into the air around them.
