Chad and Alex’s session took us through tropical greenery, dramatic conservatory spaces, quiet garden paths, and some of the Botanical Garden’s most recognizable landscapes. The variety is one of the reasons this location photographs so beautifully—you can move from an almost otherworldly, jungle-like environment to manicured outdoor gardens within the same engagement session.

Rather than treating the garden simply as a backdrop, we wanted the environment to become part of their photographs. Wide compositions emphasize the scale and texture of the gardens, while tighter portraits bring everything back to the connection between the two of them.
