Michaelangelo stood waiting in his military dress uniform beneath one of Oakland's historic stone mausoleums, while Gabriel made his entrance in flowing black, framed by layers of lace and a dramatic cathedral veil. Vivid crimson hair, ruby heels, black roses, and antique jewelry completed a look that felt less like a wedding outfit and more like something lifted from a Victorian painting.

At one point, Gabriel reclined across a weathered monument while Michaelangelo leaned in with remarkable tenderness, creating one of my favorite portraits from the day.

The images gradually stopped feeling like wedding photographs and started feeling like stills from a gothic romance—timeless, dramatic, and deeply personal.
