Meadows at Mossy Creek Wedding Photo + Video Gallery

After ten years together, Cassidy and Cole said “I do.” Their spring wedding at The Meadows at Mossy Creek in Cleveland, Georgia was colorful, romantic, playful, and full of the kind of genuine moments we love documenting.

Set against the rolling green landscape of North Georgia, their day paired a soft spring color palette with the venue’s modern white architecture and natural surroundings. From the quiet anticipation before the ceremony to running through the fields with their wedding party and dancing late into the evening, Cassidy and Cole’s wedding felt completely like them.

A Spring Wedding at The Meadows at Mossy Creek

The Meadows at Mossy Creek is an especially beautiful setting for couples looking for a North Georgia wedding venue that feels both modern and immersed in nature. The white venue buildings, open lawns, surrounding woods, and rolling landscape gave us so much variety for Cassidy and Cole’s wedding photography and videography.

Their March wedding landed right at the beginning of spring, when the landscape was starting to turn green again. Bright blue skies and direct afternoon sun gave the photographs a warm, nostalgic quality that paired beautifully with their pastel blue wedding party attire and colorful florals.

Rather than fighting the sunlight, we leaned into it—using backlighting, lens flare, movement, and the landscape to create images that feel a little dreamy and cinematic.

Ten Years Together, Finally Hitched!

Cassidy and Cole’s wedding date was March 28, 2026, but their story started long before that.

After spending ten years together, their wedding wasn’t simply the beginning of their relationship—it was a celebration of an entire decade that had already brought them to this point.

That history comes through in the photographs. There’s a comfort between them that doesn’t need much direction: laughing together in the field, Cole picking Cassidy up in her wedding dress, quiet portraits beneath her veil, and the little glances between posed photographs.

For us, those in-between moments are just as important as the traditional ones.

Colorful Spring Wedding Details

Cassidy and Cole brought plenty of personality into the details of their day. Soft blues appeared throughout the wedding party’s attire while their florals introduced peach, orange, pink, white, and blue against the greenery of the venue.

Cassidy carried a loose, cascading bouquet that looked incredible against her off-the-shoulder wedding gown and long veil. Cole wore a classic navy suit—but added a much less traditional detail underneath: a pair of Atlanta Braves socks.

Those small choices are exactly why we love documenting the details of a wedding day. They may seem tiny compared with the ceremony or first dance, but together they create a visual record of what the day actually felt like.

Documentary Wedding Photography at Meadows at Mossy Creek

Our approach at Papillon Visuals blends documentary wedding photography with editorial portraiture. We want couples to have beautiful portraits without spending their wedding day feeling like they're constantly participating in a photoshoot.

Cassidy and Cole’s gallery is a perfect example.

We created intentional portraits using the fields and natural light surrounding The Meadows at Mossy Creek, but some of our favorite photographs came once everyone started moving. Cassidy and Cole laughing together, the entire wedding party walking hand-in-hand across the lawn, a look back over Cassidy’s shoulder, and guests completely letting loose on the dance floor all tell different pieces of the story.

The result is imagery that feels polished without losing its personality.

Wedding Photography + Videography in North Georgia

Having both photography and videography allows a wedding to be remembered in two completely different ways.

Photography freezes the details and split-second expressions you might otherwise miss. Video preserves something different: movement, voices, vows, laughter, music, and the way people interacted with one another.

For a couple with ten years of history like Cassidy and Cole, having both felt particularly meaningful. Their wedding wasn't just beautiful—it was filled with people, relationships, and memories that deserved to be documented as they actually happened.

Our photo and video teams work alongside one another throughout the wedding day so the final gallery and wedding film feel like two pieces of the same story rather than completely separate productions.

Golden Light + Wedding Portraits in the Meadows

One of our favorite features of a Meadows at Mossy Creek wedding is right there in the name: the landscape.

The open fields gave Cassidy and Cole space to step away from the activity of the wedding for portraits together. We photographed them walking through the grass, wrapped together beneath Cassidy’s veil, laughing, and simply spending a few minutes together as newlyweds.

The combination of the low sunlight, wooded background, open grass, and Cassidy’s veil created some of the dreamiest images from their gallery.

These are the moments where our approach becomes especially simple: find beautiful light, give our couple enough direction to feel comfortable, and then give them room to actually interact with each other.

From Romantic Portraits to the Dance Floor

Once the reception started, the visual language of the day changed with it.

Instead of trying to make the reception look as polished as the portraits, we embraced the energy of it—direct flash, motion blur, movement, and all.

The result feels less like observing the party from outside and more like remembering what it was like to actually be there.

That's one of our favorite parts of documentary wedding photography: your photographs don't all have to look the same to tell a cohesive story. A dreamy portrait beneath a veil and a chaotic flash photograph from the dance floor can belong in the same gallery because both are honest representations of the same day.
